Zusammenfassung:	A security label with an extensibility of at least 50% which can be removed without leaving a residue by pulling, comprising an adhesive layer and an indicator layer with an optical feature for showing when an object has been opened for the first time and/or when an attempt has been made to remove the label, also has a predetermined break point where the label can be separated into two parts at the first opening. Independent claims are included for (1) a security label as above which can be stretched by opening the object to which it is attached and can be removed, at least on one side, without leaving a residue (2) a method (M1) for removing a security label as above from an object by opening the object so that the label is separated into two parts and then removing each part by pulling, preferably from the break point outwards (3) a method (M2) for removing a label as above by opening the object so that the label is pulled and detached from the object, at least on one side .
