Zusammenfassung:	An automotive instrument panel has a moulded plastic skin with embedded electrical conductors consisting e.g. of metal foil or strip and/or integrated circuit components. The foil or metal strip conductors and integrated circuit components are separated from the plastic outer skin by a polymer layer. The polymer layer e.g. polyurethane insulates and prevents a reaction between the skin and the vulnerable electrical or electronic system. Further claimed is a process to manufacture an automotive instrument panel containing an electrical or electronic system.
