Zusammenfassung:	The method involves determining compressed air requirements by a level regulating control device (8) of a pneumatic level regulating system that includes multiple air springs (3-6). A response signal (S1) is issued to a controller (2) of compressors (1). The compressors are controlled by the controller to output compressed air based on the response signal. A required compressed air value is determined by the level regulating control device based on performed functions e.g. starting aid regulations, and the required compressed air value in the response signal is conveyed by the control device.
