Carrying gripper for a clip weaving machine

A component (51) is included, which is compliant under tensile forces arising in the section of thread. The component is located near a thread clip (50) facing the end of the weft thread (25) section. It is part of a thread clip (50). The main body has a thread guide near side walls (8, 9) and the lower side (4), with a thread clip (50) close by. A further stationary clamping surface is provided opposite the clip. Tensile force in the weft moves the clip away from the stationary face. In a further design, the clip may be turned by tensile force in the thread, about a longitudinal axis.
