Zusammenfassung:A food cooking oven for use in commercial and mass-catering foodservice applications, comprises a cooking cavity (1), a boiler (2) containing a mass of water and provided with heating means (3) for generating a flow of steam to be delivered into the cooking cavity (1), a supply conduit (4) for letting a stream of water to be heated into the boiler (3). The oven further comprises an electrolytic cell (5) connected in series to said supply conduit (4) and adapted to produce zinc ions that are eluted and dispersed in the water bath contained in said cell. Such cell is substantially comprised of an outer metal casing featuring a sealed construction, and forming a first electrode, and a zinc electrode located inside said outer casing.
