Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a joint orthosis, for the support of a joint between two members of a limb, comprising a first support piece for application to one member and a second support piece for application to the other member, wherein each support piece comprises at least two support bars (5, 6, 7, 8) on opposing sides, pivotable about a pivot axis (9, 10) relative to at least one joint piece (3, 4) arranged between the first and the second support piece. A control device is provided for control of the pivot movement of the support bars (5, 6, 7, 8) such that the support bars (5, 7) arranged on one side of the first support device are coupled to carry out a pivot movement in the same sense as the support bars (8, 6) arranged on the opposite of the second support device.
