Improved creping adhesive modifier and process for producing paper products

The present invention concerns a creping adhesive composition comprising at least one creping adhesive modified by at least one quaternary ammonium complex comprising at least one non-cyclic amide. The creping adhesive composition may be used to make a paper product.
