VACUUM CLEANER

The invention relates to a vacuum cleaner (10, 60) with a housing (12, 62), enclosing a dust chamber (39) and housing a suction device (41) on which running rollers (20, 70) are rotatably mounted for travel of the vacuum cleaner along a floor surface (18, 68) and a suction nozzle (91) arranged on the housing for connection of a suction hose and a bumper strip (24, 76) projecting over the outside of the housing enclosing the same. According to the invention, the vacuum cleaner may be improved to comprise a more compact construction and an improved transportability, whereby the housing comprises a housing lower piece (14, 64) and a housing upper piece (16, 66), wherein the housing lower piece has a cylindrical form and with a first cylinder axis (22, 99), aligned perpendicular to the floor surface, the bumper strip circumferentially enclosing the lower piece and the housing upper piece has a partially cylindrical housing section with a second cylinder axis (28, 100) aligned perpendicular to the first cylinder axis (22, 99).
