Zusammenfassung:	The method involves placing a double-sided adhesive tape (1) of rubber in the overlapping area between the two sealing bands. The adhesive tape is placed in transversal direction, unilaterally on a primary sealing band (3), where a cover plate (2) is removed from the side of a double-sided covered adhesive tape. The cover plate is pressed on the primary sealing band and removes the secondary double-sided cover plate. The adhesive tape is pressed with the primary sealing band at a secondary sealing band, where the bands are heated up on the side applied to the rubber band. Es wird ein neues Verfahren zur überlappenden Verbindung von zwei Dichtbändern in Querrichtung beschrieben, bei weichem im überlappenden Bereich zwischen den beiden Dichtbändern (3,5) ein doppelseitiges Klebeband (1) aus einem Kautschuk angebracht wird.
