The arrangement has a first-in-first-out (FIFO)-memory control device (C) assigned to a FIFO-memory device (MR), and controlling inputting of data (d) from a transmitting unit (D1) e.g. direct memory access (DMA)-unit, in the memory device providing the data and outputting of the data from the memory device to a receiving unit (D2) e.g. DMA-unit, receiving the data. The control device and the memory device are arranged as physical separated components in the arrangement. The memory control device is connected with the transmitting and receiving units. An independent claim is also included for a memory management method for managing a memory device.
