Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:Granulation of kieserite and mineral fertilizers containing kieserite, comprises: (a) partially plasticizing the finely grained mineral fertilizer in a pre-treatment step, which takes place in mixers with high turbulence; (b) compression molding the conditioned, plasticized mineral fertilizers and compacting in a flat die pellet press and pellet strands with a development of smooth and compact cylindrical surface; (c) hardening the pellets by carefully drying and developing a solid pellet composite; and (d) breaking the hardened cylindrical pellet strands to the desired pellet length. Granulation of kieserite and mineral fertilizers containing kieserite, comprises: (a) partially plasticizing the finely grained mineral fertilizer in a pre-treatment step by adjusting a water content to 8.5+-2% and conditioned by the addition of hydrophilic materials, which possess lubricating properties by nature or are rendered with lubricating properties by a treatment process, where the pre-treatment of finely grained fertilizer with water and the hydrophilic substances takes place in mixers with high turbulence; (b) compression molding the conditioned, plasticized mineral fertilizers and compacting in a flat die pellet press and pellet strands with a development of smooth and compact cylindrical surface; (c) hardening the pellets produced in step (b) by carefully drying and developing a solid pellet composite; and (d) breaking the hardened cylindrical pellet strands to the desired pellet length.
