Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to novel targets in the screening for compounds useful in the treatment and/or prophylaxis of a disease selected from the group comprising cardiovascular diseases, disorders of lipid metabolism or atherosclerosis. The invention relates to novel compounds for use as a medicament for diseases or conditions involving a disease selected from the group comprising cardiovascular diseases, disorders of lipid metabolism or atherosclerosis. The invention especially relates to antagonists and expression-inhibitory compounds that target G-protein coupled receptors (GPCRs), kinases and proteases, and to methods for identifying such compounds. The invention further relates to methods for identifying these antagonists and expression-inhibitory compounds, and methods for diagnosing a disease selected from the group comprising cardiovascular diseases, disorders of lipid metabolism or atherosclerosis or a susceptibility to such a condition.
