Zusammenfassung:	The feeding device has two motor-driven feed rollers above and below the metal tape. An intermediate air venting device is provided for timed opening of the conveying gap between the rollers. The air venting device comprises a pneumatic contraction hose. An air venting device (2,3,7,8) that is independent of the intermediate air venting device is provided for opening the conveying gap. The intermediate air venting device acts on the first feed roller, and the air venting device acts on the second feed roller. Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zum taktweisen Vorschieben eines Werkstoffbandes, insbesondere eines Metallbandes, umfassend mindestens eine erste Vorschubwalze 11 und mindestens eine zweite Vorschubwalze 12, welche motorisch angetrieben sowie oberhalb und unterhalb des Werkstoffbandes angeordnet sind, so dass sie einen Transportspalt für das Werkstoffband bilden, sowie eine Zwischenlüftungsvorrichtung 13, 14, 15, 16 zum getakteten Aufweiten des Transportspaltes, wobei die Zwischenlüftungsvorrichtung 13, 14, 15, 16 einen fluidbeaufschlagten, insbesondere pneumatischen Kontraktionsschlauch 16 enthält. Die Erfindung ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass eine von der Zwischenlüftungsvorrichtung 13, 14, 15, 16 unabhängige Lüftungsvorrichtung 2, 3, 7, 8 zum Öffnen des Transportspaltes vorhanden ist.
