Reinforcement piece for crash protection

The part (1) has an outer surface adapted to a contour of a surface of a body part of a motor vehicle and disposed at a complementary arranged area on the body part in a flat tangential manner. The strengthening part is adapted to an inner surface of an inner plate of a B-pillar (3) and is partially adapted to an inner surface of an outer plate of another B-pillar (2). An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing an impact protection strengthening part for a passenger of a motor vehicle. Die Erfindung betrifft ferner ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Aufprallschutzverstärkungsteils, wonach dieses im Injektionsverfahren hergestellt wird.
