Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to a coating on a substrate that is/can be subjected to high thermal loads. The coating is a sol gel layer system based on silicates, based on titanates, aluminates, borates or zirconates or based on the nanoscale oxides of titanium, aluminum, boron or zirconium. The inventive coating is characterized in that the sol gel layer system comprises an additive and that the additive is fullerene, a C nanotube, a derivative of the two or a mixture of at least two of the latter.
