DEVICE COMPRISING TWO TRANSMITTING/RECEIVING UNITS FOR EXCHANGING INFORMATION BETWEEN A MOBILE TERMINAL AND A MOBILE TELEPHONE NETWORK

The invention concerns a communication system for setting up a communication link (14, 15, 16, 17) for exchanging information between at least one mobile terminal (1) and a mobile telephone network (2). Said system comprises a mobile telephone network (2) having a cellular structure consisting of telephony cells, a device (9) capable of being connected to the mobile telephone network (2) for communication purposes, and providing at least one transmitting/receiving unit (11), a radio communication service zone (10) for wireless communication (8) in a short range zone and at least one mobile terminal (1) capable of operating in the mobile telephone network (2), which includes a transmitting/receiving unit enabling wireless radio communication (8) in a short range zone, the device for communication link (16, 17) with the mobile telephone network (2) comprising a transmitting/receiving unit (13) capable of operating in the mobile telephone network (2). The present invention also concerns corresponding methods, a corresponding device (9) as well as a corresponding mobile terminal (1).
