Zusammenfassung:This invention relates to an iconic display of pre-event or post-event iconic markers for a meter and a method for marking an analyte concentration with a pre-event or post-event iconic marker. The meter includes at least one segment on a display adapted to show a pre-event or post-event iconic marker. The user can interact with the meter via a button on the meter. The button allows the user to scroll from pre-event, post-event, and neither iconic marker, and it also allows the user to select one or neither of the iconic markers. A memory device located within the meter stores the analyte concentration with the corresponding pre-event, post-event, or neither iconic marker.
