Zusammenfassung:	The present invention provides an ink-jet recording material comprising: a support; and at least two ink-receiving layers of an ink-receiving underlayer and an ink-receiving top layer, the ink-receiving layers being disposed on the support and each comprising a pigment and a binder, characterized in that: the ink-receiving underlayer comprises at least a pigment A and a pigment B, the pigment A having a BET specific surface area of less than 100 m 2 /g, the pigment B having a BET specific surface area of no less than 100 m 2 /g, and a content ratio of the pigment A to the pigment B being within a range of 9/1 to 1/9; and the ink-receiving top layer comprises a finely agglomerated pigment with an average particle diameter of 0.008 to 0.7 µm and a binder, the finely agglomerated pigment being selected from the group consisting of a silica, an alumina, and an alumina hydrate.
