Zusammenfassung:	Insulation composition having high permitivity comprises a polymer matrix comprising an elastomer, a filler with high permitivity i.e. higher than 15, preferably higher than 40 and a conducting filler such as a filler doped with a conducting element, where the concentration of the conducting filler is lower than the concentration corresponding to the percolation threshold of the conducting filler in the polymer matrix. Independent claims are included for: (1) an electrical cable connecting device, comprising at least an electric field-control element, made up of the composition; and (2) an electrical cable, comprising at least an electric field-control element made up of the composition.
