Zusammenfassung:	An insulating cover (1) for a bar (7) to bar (7) connection of a stator winding of an electric machine wherein the insulating cover (1) has only one opening (2), and is made from a flexible insulating material embedding the bar (7) to bar (7) connection entirely in a tight fit once applied thereon. Thus no additional filling, for example foam - filling or potting with a curing plastic having a low thermal conductivity are necessary. The inventive insulating cover (2) covers the entire blank metal without additional insulating means or adhesives. Further ways for producing and applying such an insulating cover (2) are described.
