Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a scutching device, comprising transport means for stems in a transport direction (X), essentially perpendicular to the orientation of the stems, with at least one gripping and driving means (60), for said stems and at least one breaker unit (30), comprising at least one pair of fluted superimposed breaker rollers (31-35). The invention is characterised in that for each breaking unit (30), the upper and lower rollers of each pair of breaking rollers (31-35) are driven in rotation in a synchronised manner, the flutes of the upper roller engaging without contact between two flutes of the lower roller.
