Zusammenfassung:The present invention relates to an extended release formulation of 3-amino-8-(1­piperazinyl)-2H-1-benzopyran-2-one or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof or a hydrate of said pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. The invention further relates to the preparation of these extended release formulations and their use in the prevention or treatment of disorders, especially pain and CNS disorders such as depression, anxiety and movement disorders.
