Zusammenfassung:	Disclosed is a hard surface cleaning composition employing dibasic esters as a primary solvent in combination with a primary emulsifier, a short-chain cosurfactant, a secondary emulsifier and water. Optional components include a polar solvent and a thickener. The disclosed composition is preferably in the form of an oil continuous microemulsion and is provided as a component of a liquid or spray formulation for use, depending upon the application. The disclosed cleaning agents have a low odor and satisfy the 2005 CARB VOC requirements of less than 8% by weight for oven cleaners.
