Zusammenfassung:	Preparation of thickened fruit- and/or vegetable preparation comprises providing a locked, reclosable container containing a thickener composition; supplementing the fruit- and/or vegetable containing component in the container; thickening the fruit- and/or vegetable containing component by mixing the thickener composition and the fruit- and/or vegetable containing component in the container; obtaining a thickened fruit and/or vegetable preparation in the container. Independent claims are included for: (1) a gelled fruit- and/or vegetable preparation obtained from the above method; and (2) a kit for the manufacture of thickened fruit and/or vegetable preparation from fruit and/or vegetable containing components containing a container and a thickener composition.
