Production ex-situof at least one biochip, which can be projected on to a substrate (18), comprises using a micro volume of a reagent containing at least one diluted probe in a solvent which can form a plot (20) with the probe after the solvent has been eliminated. A micro projection unit (D) has at least one reservoir (1) containing the reagent, and at least one pressurized gas supply linked to the reservoir. The micro volumes are propelled by a jet (14) through the pressure on the reagent from the gas.
