Zusammenfassung:	The measuring gas cuvette (MK) has 2 opposing windows (F1,F2) for passage of radiation and is positioned in a horizontal working position, with a gas inlet (GE) for a measuring gas arranged between 2 gas outlets (GA1,GA2), adjacent respective windows, so that the measuring gas is fed into the measuring gas cuvette at its center and divided into 2 partial streams, flowing in opposite directions to the gas outlets. An independent claim for a method for operating a measuring cuvette in a photometer is also included.
