Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a charge equalization device for a battery (B), in particular, a motor vehicle battery, comprising several series-connected cells (3). The aim of the invention is to allow charge equalization to be carried out in a particularly simple and economical manner. Said aim is achieved, whereby several cells (3) are combined into blocks (1, 2), connected to a DC/DC converter (8) and an electronic system (9) is provided, by means of which a charge equalization of the cells (3) can be carried out, whereby one of the blocks (1, 2) is charged by another of said blocks (1, 2) via said DC/DC converter.
