A stationary power output unit (17) at a distance to the tool equipment and connected it with a feed line (5) for supplying the tool equipment with electric energy. Stationary control equipment (7) is arranged at a distance to the tool equipment and connected with the tool equipment for the control of working conditions of the tool equipment, with a first (6) and a second operating unit (9) arranged in the tool equipment. The control equipment is designed in such a way that the change of a working condition takes place through a cooperative operation of both operating units. An independent claim is also included for the operating method for tool.
