Zusammenfassung:	Air bag module comprises a gas generator (1) with an electrical connection (4), and an air bag (2) with an opening (3) for introducing the gas generator into the air bag that is sealed by at least one textile part (5). The gas generator and its electrical connection are arranged in the region of the opening. The textile part is arranged and designed so that the opening is sealed by the textile part during and/or after deployment of the air bag in the region of the gas generator and/or at the electrical connection. Preferred Features: The gas generator is arranged directly behind the opening in the air bag and the electrical connection passes through the opening out of the air bag.
