Zusammenfassung:The arrangement has a discriminator stage (31) to detect a DC mode or an AC mode of an electronic device e.g. electronic ballast (3). The stage includes a control unit (32) that stores power-line voltage- characteristic curves (321, 322) for the respective DC and AC modes of the device. The control unit controls the electrical power received by the device with respect to the assigned curve based on the detected mode of the device. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) an electronic ballast comprising a circuit arrangement (2) a method for controlling power of an electronic device based on a line voltage.
