Also disclosed is a slurry bubble column reactor 11, heat exchange system with groups of tie rod supports (figs. 4-8) supporting heat exchange tubes. The reactor may typically host Fischer-Tropsh reactions within a fluid featuring a fluidised catalyst. The coolant may typically be water.
