Zusammenfassung:	A surgical implant (1) has an edge structure (2) by means of which an inner area (3) is defined. Extending from the edge structure (2) there is a flexible first mesh structure (4) which is deformed three-dimensionally and spans the inner area (3) of the edge structure (4). A pulling thread (8) is also provided which preferably engages on the first mesh structure (4). In advantageous embodiments of the implant, a flexible second mesh structure (6) extends from the edge structure (2), which flexible second mesh structure (6) spans the inner area (3) of the edge structure (2), is arranged opposite the first mesh structure (4) and is preferably also deformed three-dimensionally. The implant can be used as a hernia repair implant.
