CEILING BOX SAFETY MOUNTING BRACKET

Reinforcement brackets capable of being secured to the interior of an electrical box and to a structural member in structural adjacency to the electrical box, those brackets securing the movement of the electrical box relative to the structural member against the weight of a fixture fastenable to the electrical box, those brackets including a top interface (12a) mating to the interior top region of the electrical box, a side interface (14a) mating to the interior side region of the electrical box, a rigid member (15a) providing resistance to a compressive force applied between the top and side interfaces, and a mating feature (16a) for a fastener including a hole through which a fastener may be inserted, the feature providing an attachment point for the fastener, the feature oriented in a position relative to the bracket such that the fastener may be installed through the access aperture of the electrical box to secure the bracket to the structural member.
