Clamping device for steering column

The clamping device comprises a first ramp disc (2, 19) that is opposite a second ramp disc (3, 20) that is rotatable and changeable in terms of position between a detached position and a clamped position. The first ramp disc and the second ramp disc have at least two hub ramps (5, 6, 22) in the circumferential direction for roller body and for at least one guide recess, preferably two lying in the plane of the two ramp discs with inclined guide recesses (9, 10, 23) for a control element. The hub ramps and the guide recesses run counter to the first and second ramp discs such that the roller body and the control element are located in the recesses held in holder elements (4) between the ramp discs.
