Zusammenfassung:	The locking device (1) is for the locking of a door or a window with at least one leaf, whereby the leaf is movably coupled to a drive belt (2). A locking component (3) interacts with the drive belt and engages in a recess therein. The recess is located in a mating component (7) fitted on the drive belt in the drive belt's locked position. The mating component is constructed so that the locking component outside of the locked position of the drive belt is not lockable to this.
