Hot dies type forging press and thermal insulation means for said press

The forging press has two dies between two die support elements, a thermal insulation placed between each die and its support element. The thermal insulation has two superposed layers (A, B), a first layer (A) having a first material having mechanical and thermal properties suitable for operation at a temperature above a temperature T, a second layer (B) having a second material having mechanical and thermal properties suitable for operating at a temperature below the temperature T. An independent claim is included for a thermal insulator.
