Device for drying print ink

A dryer for printing ink, comprising (a) a set of parallel tubular light sources in one plane, (b) another similar set of light sources offset from (a) in a plane parallel to the first, and a two-dimensional reflector with a concave surface zone above each light source and matching its profile. A drying device for printing ink, comprising (a) a first set of tubular light sources (10) parallel to one another in a first plane, (b) a second set of tubular light sources (20) in a second plane above and parallel to the first plane, which are offset from (10) and offset with regard to (10) in projection on the first plane, and (c) a two-dimensional reflector (30) with numerous concave surface zones (31, 32) in which the reflector surface has a concave form matching the profile of the light sources and extending along them, with at least one concave zone (31, 32) above each light source (10, 20). An independent claim is also included for a device for printing textiles, comprising an ink transfer device (preferably a screen printing element) for transferring ink to textile pieces, a dryer as described above and an actuator for moving textile pieces between the printer and the dryer.
