Zusammenfassung: | A powered precleaner separates debris from atmospheric air through the use of a blower (110) and a separation chamber (120). The chamber (120) includes at least one inlet orifice (124a) and at least two additional orifices, including an exit orifice (125a) and an outlet orifice (121a) containing at least one heat exchanger (117). The blower (110) blows air and debris along an inner surface of the separation chamber and out of the exit orifice (125a). The outlet orifice (125a) is sized to allow large debris to exit the chamber (120). Sufficient backpressure is created to cause a predetermined amount of precleaned air to flow through the outlet orifice (121a) containing the heat exchanger (117). A screen (130) may be added to trap larger light debris and prevent it from flowing to and plugging the heat exchanger (117). |
