Zusammenfassung:	The method involves estimating an instantaneous power of a video signal from samples of the signal. The samples lead or lag for a duration, greater than a duration of a secondary surveillance radar (SSR) response duration, with respect to the sample under analysis. A threshold equal to the estimated power is determined. The samples are filtered when the powers of the samples under analysis are lower than the threshold. An independent claim is also included for secondary radar for implementing a method of filtering video signal.
