Zusammenfassung:	A vehicle powertrain (1) has an internal combustion engine (2) combusting first fuel (6) in a first mode or second fuel (5) in a second mode and generating driving torque to vehicle wheels (18). Method comprises supplying first fuel (6) into combustion chambers of the internal combustion engine (2) in the first mode, determining to switch from the first mode to the second mode based on vehicle driving condition, stopping to supply the first fuel (6) into the combustion chambers when it is determined to switch to the second mode, suspending fueling into the combustion chambers for a predetermined period, and resuming the fueling with the second fuel (5) after the predetermined period.
