Zusammenfassung:	The fastener has an adapter (5) for creating a guiding joint between two components to be joined. The adapter is positioned between the components in a form of a plate with projections that extend into elongated holes in the components for allowing the components to pre-align for bolt insertion. A non-rotatable round headed bolt passes via the components, and a nut on the bolt secures the components in position. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) a method for joining a brush unit to a component (B) an escalator or moving walk comprising a bolted fastener.
