Zusammenfassung:	The brewing device includes a valve unit (6) with membrane (41) and channel plate (40) wherein the channel plate has at least one valve opening on the side of the plate facing the membrane, at least one channel section connected to a valve opening for radially guiding the brewing water into the channel plate , and at least one through bore connected to the channel section and opening on the opposite side of the channel plate. The membrane can also be a one piece flexible plate made of rubber elastic material extending substantially over an end face of the channel plate.
