The perforated plates are interconnected by the use of at least one fluid or adhesive substance, and the air choke is sealed. The perforated plates may be soldered to one another and the substance used may be a liquid solder, or the plates may be glued together and the substance used an adhesive. An independent claim is included for a machine, especially a printing press, for the processing of sheets of printable material, including at least one air choke.
