Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:	The device is for the pressing of a gear rack onto a pinion by a pressure piece and a setscrew which are fitted in a bore of a steering housing supporting the gear rack. The setscrew (6) has at least one collar (8) which protrudes radially beyond the thread (9) of the setscrew and is caulked by an outer face (10a,10b) of the threaded bore (5) of the housing. For the caulking with the collar the outer face of the threaded bore has at least one groove, recess, and/or slot (11). An independent claim is included for a method for the assembly of a device for the pressing of a gear rack onto a pinion, whereby by means of the setscrew a desired pressure piece clearance is established and the collar of the setscrew is caulked by a caulking action by an outer face of the threaded bore.
