Zusammenfassung:	A cosmetic cleansing gel comprises (wt.%): (a) myreth sulfate (1 - 5, preferably 1.5 - 3); (b) cocamidopropyl betaine (1.5 - 7, preferably 2 - 5); (c) at least one cross-linked acrylate copolymer (2 - 10, preferably 3 - 7); and (d) water (70 - 95, preferably 70 - 93.5). A weight ratio of (a):(b) is 0.1:1 - 1.3:1 (preferably 0.2:1 - 1:1 or 0.3:1 - 0.8:1, especially 0.5:1). The gel has a viscosity of 1500 - 10000 mPa.s. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a container containing the cleansing gel; and (2) a carrier (preferably cloth and/or pad) impregnated with the cleansing gel.
