Zusammenfassung: | The invention relates to a device for recording a rotational angle or a length, comprising a sensor assembly (26) for recording the position of the displacement. Said sensor assembly contains a support plate (8) that responds synkinetically in a relative or corresponding manner to the displacement and comprises at least one code track (4) and at least one fixed sensor (1) that acts on the code track (4). The latter (4) is located on the support plate (8) with each point running parallel to the displacement direction and has markings (41) that generate a successively changing bit pattern. A segment of the displacement in the displacement direction, for example the 360 DEG of a circumference of a circle, divided by the number of markings (41) on said segment defines a rate (ss) and the bit pattern is determined by a phase-shifted arrangement of markings (41) in relation to the fixed separation of the rate (ss). To enable the rapid determination of the absolute angular position or the absolute length, selected markings (41) at several pre-defined points are offset ( delta ) on the support plate (8), causing the change of the bit pattern to be delayed at these points in relation to the rate (ss). |
