Zusammenfassung:	A cable drive for sliding doors in furniture has a cable reel (10) in a support housing (6) which can be mounted onto a support surface in one of two orientations each 180 deg. to each other. The reel is fitted into the mounting between upper and lower retaining clips each secured to the housing by a flexible film hinge and which clip over the cable to hold it on the reel. The reel housing and retaining clips can be a one piece moulding and can include lugs for alignment with the furniture carcase. The system can be used for either vertically sliding doors or horizontally sliding doors.
