DIAPHRAGM PUMP

The invention relates to a diaphragm pump comprising a multi-part pump body that has at least three rigid plates and at least two elastic membranes placed between these plates. Said plates form at least one pump chamber and at least two blocking chambers, particularly with the geometry of a spherical segment of a spherical zone, of a cylinder or of a truncated cone, each having an inlet and outlet opening for the material to be delivered. The pump chamber and the blocking chambers, together with an inlet channel, form the connecting channels and together with an outlet channel, form a passage channel. The pump chamber and the blocking chambers are separated by the diaphragms into a product space and control space. The control spaces have control lines that are connected to a control unit. The invention is characterized in that the outer plate is provided with a stronger design whereby the control space of the pump chamber is enlarged, and an axially moving disc with an elongated rod, which is placed on one side, is inserted inside said control space.
