Zusammenfassung:	The method involves determining a target steering angle and where a steering movement by the driver increases the difference between the actual steering angle and target steering angle applying a support torque to the steering wheel which becomes greater as the difference increases. Where a steering movement by the driver reduces the difference a support torque is applied to the steering wheel which becomes smaller as the difference decreases. The support torque specifies a rotational direction for the steering wheel and where the rotational movement of the wheel is set by the driver in the direction of the predetermined rotational direction the steering angle moves close to the target steering angle.
