Zusammenfassung:	Protective cover, or material for making such a cover, is a multilayer material of thickness (E) 30-140 microns, intended for covering containers or pots made of polyolefin, typically polypropylene, by heat sealing. Protective cover, or material for making such a cover, is a multilayer material of thickness (E) 30-140 microns, intended for covering containers or pots made of polyolefin, typically polypropylene, by heat sealing. It comprises an external layer (CE) of polyolefin with thickness (Ee) = 0.6-0.9E and a sealing layer (CS) of thickness (Es) = 0.1-0.4E, consisting of at least 35wt.% polyolefin-based elastomer (CEP) of modulus below 300 MPa and at most 65wt.% polyethylene, and the two layers are co-extruded. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) pre-cut covers prepared from the specified material; and (2) method for preparing the specified material.
